The Tavern: dining room, verandah and bar celebrates the warm, celebratory traditions of the old Portuguese taverns with a modern touch that fuses Portuguese, Italain, French and Goan cuisines at one table. The signature menu, inspired and composed by Chris Saleem is shaped by local, fresh, seasonal ingredients and contemporary flavours as well as traditional favorites and Petiscos (Tapas). The Tavern offers patrons an option to dine in the signature dining room, best for private meals or in the verandah that offers views of the sea and church. Fort Tiracol

Fort Tiracol
Fort & St. Anthony's Church
Built by the Maharaja of Sawantwad and thereafter revamped by the Portuguese in the 17th century, Fort Tiracol (also known as Terekhol Fort) is a symbol of hope for all Goans; it gives silent testimony to the hard won freedom that Goa enjoys today. The fort offers awe-inspiring views over the confluence of the river and sea waters as well as a bird’s eye view of the Querem and Kalacha beach. During its occupation, as per Portuguese customs, a church was built within the walls of the fort. Originally dedicated to the Holy Trinity, now a church of St. Anthony, the church still holds Sunday mass till this very day.
Fort Tiracol is open to the public from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, the church is open for mass on Sundays. Visitors can also enjoy meals & drinks at the Tavern which is open to the public for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
