Sales Executive

Your Role:
As Sales Executive you are responsible to manage the sales of services to create profits for the hotels. Sales executives identify prospects, maintain customer relationships, and identify ways to grow their sales figures. Responsibilities will include:
- Identify and target potential clients or businesses to bring in new sales opportunities for the hotel.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and encouraging repeat business.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, which may involve setting room rates, packages, and discounts.
- Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to make informed decisions and stay competitive.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, including pricing and terms.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to management, detailing achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
- Depending on the hotel, sales executives may be responsible for selling event spaces and group bookings for conferences, weddings, or other functions.
- Ensure excellent customer service to guests and clients, resolving any issues or concerns promptly.
- Attend industry events and build a network to create potential sales opportunities.
- Work closely with other hotel departments, such as marketing, front desk, and catering, to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Maintain records, contracts, and documentation related to sales activities.
- May be responsible for managing the sales budget and expenses.
Skills & Requirements:
- Hotel Management and/or skill relevant education preferred
- Pleasing personality and good communication skills
- Prior relevant hospitality experience in position of application.
